WINCHESTER Cathedral is expecting another sell out performance from its fourth outdoor theatre production.

Cinderella by Chapterhouse Theatre Company will be the fourth production since the Cathedral revived outdoor theatre in 2021.

The performance, by the touring theatre company, will take place in the Cathedral’s Lower Deanery Garden on Sunday August 21 at 7pm.

The last open-air production in July, Pride & Prejudice, fully sold out and Winchester Cathedral is expecting the same to happen again.

A spokes person for Winchester Cathedral said: “The reception is really positive, visitors love being able to enjoy an outdoor theatre production in a part of the historic Cathedral grounds which isn’t normally open to the public.

“Events at the cathedral provide opportunities for participation, skills development, volunteering and social, cultural economic and environmental developments. Community events here keep the cathedral connected with our local visitors as well as welcoming tourists at regional, national and international level.”

A maximum of 250 tickets are available to book online and buy on the night (dependent on availability) and doors will open at 6.15pm.
