SOMETHING delicious has arrived in Stockbridge as café and deli business Honey+Harvey has opened its first Hampshire branch.

Launching in time for Stockbridge’s food and craft festival, Trout ’n About, Honey+Harvey has taken over the building previously occupied by Woodfire in the village.

Residents can enjoy locally sourced menus and specialty coffees, as well as pizza and brunch.

The small coffee shop chain has also now said that it intends to open a cafe in Winchester, in a unit on The Square, despite denying its intentions earlier this year when the Chronicle reported on it.

The business, which is part-owned by Winchester-based investment group Gentian Development Group, plastered its posters in the windows of the former Pure Home Furnishing Shop in January - but insisted that it had no plans for Winchester at the time.

Now it has confirmed its plans to open in the autumn, on the back of its new Stockbridge opening.

Joe Fellows, of Honey+Harvey, said: “We are pleased to be opening our first café outside Suffolk in such a beautiful spot. At Honey+Harvey we love food and love local. We have enjoyed working with Hampshire Fare to help us find some great local suppliers and ingredients for our menus.”

The cafe will sell goods from The Winchester Bakery and it will also have a small shop area with a selection of artisan snacks and groceries including Honey+Harvey’s own locally made gin, jams and coffee.

Outdoors there are tables in front of the building and an attractive terraced area to the rear. Honey+Harvey is also dog friendly.
