POLICE are investigating a public order incident after a man was threatened in Winchester High Street.
Officers were called to Chococo just after 9.10am on Saturday, August 6 following reports of a staff member being threatened by a man and two women outside the store.
An eyewitness told the Chronicle a hooded man was "squaring up" to the employee, shouting obscenities while waving a bottle of champagne around.
Some members of the public attempted to intervene as the incident attracted a crowd of passers-by and market traders setting up for the day.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: "Enquiries are ongoing at this time to ascertain the exact circumstances of the incident."
