A WINCHESTER man who attacked two police officers has been jailed for four months.

Christopher Taylor, 35, of Hyde Gate, Hyde, admitted assaulting Dean Lucas and Jordan Dempsey in Basingstoke and also interfering with an 18-reg Honda Civic, all on July 28.

Magistrates in Basingstoke on Friday July 29 imposed the 16-week sentence saying the offences were aggravated by many recent similar offences. Probation said there was no work they could do with Taylor in the community.
