IT's back. For the first in what seems like months the Union flag is again flying over the Broadway.

Since March the flag that has fluttered outside the Guildhall has been the yellow and blue of Ukraine.

The last photo was taken on Friday and the red while and blue was again flying on Monday of this week.

Some people might argue that instead of the UK flag the Guildhall should fly the Cross of St George. After all Scottish and Welsh public buildings more often fly the Saltaire or the Welsh dragon.

Belgarum raised the issue in the paper last week after a reader complained and asked why the city council is "so reluctant to fly the (Union) flag on the Guildhall".
