A LOCAL betting agency has become yet another victim to anti-social behaviour, with two smashed windows.

Coral betting agency in Winchester high street had their windows smashed on Thursday, July 21.

The shop was alerted an hour after the incident occurred and were able to get the damage boarded up the same day.

A service worker at the local Coral branch said: “The police haven’t said anything, but we are covered by insurance.”

The police have been contacted for further information.

Both the door and one of the front windowpanes were smashed and have been boarded up but the betting shop has remained open.

The incident follows a series of window smashing within Winchester high street over the last few months. Previous victims include River Mini Market, Cell Repairs, Ecco, Mint Velvet, Fat Face, Pret A Manger and the Hampshire Chronicle office.
