THE changing rooms at a leisure centre in Romsey have reopened with a new look.

The dry side changing rooms at Romsey Rapids Sports Complex in Southampton Road have received a complete makeover.

The newly improved facilities were opened to customers on Thursday, July 21 after closing for refurbishment on May 16.

A spokesperson for Romsey Rapids said: “The refurbishment has seen a complete makeover of the changing rooms from floor to ceiling. New shower and changing cubicles have been installed, as well as new locker, benches, flooring, and tiling. With the aim of creating a far better, modern environment for our customers to use when changing or showering.”

Throughout the works, leisure centre users have been able to use the other changing area and shower open on the wet side.

The popular sports complex revealed a sneak peak of the changing rooms this morning ahead of its opening, with followers advised to “keep an eye out on socials for the latest information.”
