POLICE are looking to identify two people after a member of staff at Marks & Spencer was threatened with violence and racially abused.

Officers are searching for a man and woman in connection with the public order incident, which took place at the Whiteley store between 5.10pm and 5.30pm on Tuesday, July 12.

CCTV stills have been released of two people the police want to speak with.

A spokesperson for Winchester Police said: "Do you recognise these two people? If you do, please contact us on 101 quoting 44220279254. You can also submit information to us online here: orlo.uk/pi2fw.

"Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111, or via their anonymous online form at orlo.uk/YooiB."
