Southern Water was sent out to 'assess' the situation.
South West Water is wholly responsible for the disgusting sewage spill and it is not first occasion.
Their revenue and profits should be directed at building more sewage processing facilities which are essential, no only for the good health of residents, but is also having a detrimental effect on our chalk-based rivers including the Itchen; once Poet Keats' favourite riverside walk.
Southwest Water is failing in its duty. Unlike gas and electric utilities, clean water and proper sewage management is essential for good health.
Hopefully the 'assessment' will become action and not words.
