POLICE are investigating several incidents of unknown suspicious persons taking photos of addresses and driveways in a Hampshire village.

Multiple Kings Worthy residents have reported seeing shady characters taking snaps of their homes over the past few days. A vehicle in the area has also had its licence plates removed.

Officers have now asked for anyone with any ring doorbell footage of peculiar behaviour to submit it to help with their investigations.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "This morning (Friday, July 15) the Winchester Rural Neighbourhoods Team have been progressing several incidents over the last few days regarding unknown suspicious persons taking photos of addresses and driveways in the Kings Worthy area. There has also been a report of a vehicle having its licence plates removed.

"Further enquires are taking place to identify the persons involved, however I would like to remind people to keep an eye out for any suspicious behaviour and report to police via 101 or 999 in an emergency.

"If you own a video doorbell and capture something suspicious, please report this via our website at orlo.uk/yRbC5."
