A TEST Valley villager has been fined for speeding on the M3.
George Rolls, 62, of Hoplands, King's Somborne, was clocked driving an 18-reg Mini and breaking the 50mph limit by a fixed speed camera at Thorpe in Surrey on December 8 last year, a court heard.
Rolls was found guilty under the single justice procedure. He was not present in court.
Guildford Magistrates Court fined him £601 with a £60 victim surcharge and £90 costs. The penalty of £751 must be paid by August 3. Six penalty points were added to his driving licence.
