A YOUNG man from a village near Alresford threatened to reveal sexual photos of a woman, a court heard.
George Butler, 22, made threats to disclose private photos without consent, with the intent of causing distress on February 22, a court heard.
Butler, of Church Lane, Bramdean, was ordered by magistrates in Basingstoke on Monday July 11 to do 120 hours unpaid work over the next 12 months and to pay £85 costs and a £95 victim surcharge by August 8. There will be a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 15 days.
No compensation was ordered, according to the court record, because it "would aggravate the situation for the aggrieved."
A restraining order was also imposed for Butler not to go to an address in Alresford or contact the woman either directly or indirectly, to run until January 10 2023.
