The Pantaloons are back for outdoor theatrical fun and mayhem this summer in Beech Hurst Park, Andover.

The wonderfully versatile theatre company, The Pantaloons will be back on Saturday, July 9 with two epic performances of the classic adventure tale: The War of the Worlds, at 2pm and 6pm.

They invade the stage in this funny yet faithful open-air adaptation of H G Wells sci-fi classic as they use musical instruments, puppetry and enthusiasm to recreate deadly heat-rays, giant fighting-machines, squidgy tentacled martians and interplanetary warfare on an epic scale. The chances of success? A million to one.

Residents are encouraged to book their tickets now to make some memories with friends and loved ones that will last for months to come and they are also encouraged to bring a picnic or some bubbly and enjoy the unique atmosphere that can only be found at outdoor theatre.

In the green and leafy surrounds of Beech Hurst Park, Weyhill Road, Andover there will be two performances at 2pm and 6pm and all tickets are £12. Audience goers will need to bring their own seating and come prepared for any weather as the show will always go on.

If you are a fan of The Pantaloons then you might also wish to note that they are back with Much Ado About Nothing on Saturday, August 6 with another splendid park performance, and then indoors at The Lights on Saturday, October 22 with their anarchic twist on the classic tale of love and loss with Great Expectations.
