Romsey Rotary is launching its 19th annual fundraiser ‘Walk the Test Way’.

With the Test Way frequently rated one of the top walks in the region, each year the event draws interest from many groups including families and school groups, all looking to raise funds for their chosen charity.

Those taking part often walk distances from five miles to 25 miles, with all walks ending in Romsey’s Memorial Park.

All abilities are welcome to take part, although walkers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and dogs must be kept on a lead.

Walk the Test Way is sponsored by The Rotary Club of Romsey Test. Last year, 304 walkers completed the event, with £46,000 raised for a total of 71 charities, with over £1million raised since the scheme began in 2004.

This year the event will be held on the September 25.
