DRIVERS are being warned to plan in advance as large numbers of cruise passengers are arriving and leaving today.
Busy traffic is expected around the waterfront. Drivers are being advised to plan ahead.
Cruises will also be coming in over the weekend from France, Spain, Germany, Norway, and around the world, according to Associated British Ports (ABP).
Train strikes will also continue to affect travellers this weekend.
Tomorrow is the final day of the RMT union-led strike, but significant disruption is also expected on Sunday.

South Western Railway (SWR), the main rail operator at Southampton Central, is reminding customers to only travel by train if absolutely necessary for the rest of the week.
Southampton City Council's highways team tweeted: "High volumes of cruise passengers are expected in the city again today with several cruise ships arriving/departing.
"Please continue to plan any journeys to the waterfront in advance as it will be busy."
