A LONG-STANDING hair salon in Winchester that has a reputation for cutting celebrity hair has been named as one of the best at a prestigious award ceremony.
Guy Kremer Salon, in Parchment Street, was one of nine Winchester businesses honoured in this year's Muddy Stilettos Awards.
It was named Best Hair Salon after receiving hundreds of votes from satisfied clients.
Salon owner, Guy Kremer said: "I'm delighted that we have the support from our clients and Winchester people. We have been established for 40 years and it's nice to have the continuous support from everyone.
"Above all, it's the loyalty of our clients giving us the possibility to carry on, especially after Covid lockdown. So it gave the team a boost to perform to the best of their ability.
"These awards mean more to me than industry awards because they are given to me by the client."
The Muddy Stilettos awards returned for their ninth year this year.
More than 500,000 people nominated over 75,000 businesses nationally in the first round of the awards.
The top five with the most votes in each of the 27 categories in each county made it into the finals.
