A SINKHOLE that opened up in a city centre street is currently being investigated by National Highways.
A section of Wilton Avenue is closed between Coventry Road and Devonshire Road.
Workers on the scene said today that the cause of the sinkhole is being investigated.

A barrier is still in place around the site with cones cordoning off the area.
Motorists are being asked to plan ahead due to the road closure.
