Healthshare’s executive director Jacqui Dorney said: "It’s been a long time coming and we’re super proud of what we’ve been able to achieve. The team are absolutely amazing, we have a wonderful cohort of staff and super doctors. We’re just really excited to be able to open and launch so that we can get patients into the building so that they can access the services that they want to and as quickly as possible.

“An awful lot has gone into the opening. We’ve gone from design stage, being out in portacabins in the car park and now we’ve got this wonderful five-star facility. There’s been a lot of time and effort from all of the team to get us to this week. And a lot of doctor input which is great to have, especially from the early stages so we can make sure we’ve got all the patient flows and all the geography of building in the best way we possibly could.

“Opening a healthcare facility like this in Winchester, certainly in the location we’ve got, is just superb for patients. We’re looking to open up access, we don’t want to compete with anybody in the local area, we just want to make sure patients can get care as quickly as they need to.”
