A MAN has been found dead in a block of flats in Woolston.
Hampshire police were called to a flat in John Thornycroft Road, Southampton, after a report of concern for an elderly man on Sunday night.
Upon arrival officers discovered the body of a 64-year-old.
It's understood police were called to Grafton House.
Residents in the building have spoken of police activity in one of the flats. The flat is now locked from the outside and marked with tape.

Other residents in the building spoke of "thudding" and "banging" in one of the flats.
One resident, a woman, said: "At around 11pm (on Sunday) we heard lots of thudding upstairs. It was really strange.
"Things like this never happen around here. We also saw a big police Transit van outside."
Another resident said he saw police cars outside the block.
According to police, the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.37pm on June 19 to a report of a concern for welfare for a man in a flat in John Thornycroft Road.
“Upon entering the flat, officers discovered the body of a 64-year-old man.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
