In aid of The Fire Fighters Charity, the event, which was held on Sunday, June 12, saw scores of kids meet their local heroes and spend a day in their shoes - quite literally. The young attendees got to try on the crew's protective gear and explore fire engines and specialist trucks as part of the fun. Police and ambulance teams were also present throughout the day, with all three services holding several demo's.
