AN AWARD-WINNING shoe shop is stepping out and has expanded into bigger premises.

Billy Goat, a children’s independent shoe shop in Alresford, has moved to bigger premises just a few hundred yards down the road to West Street.

Billy Goat opened seven years ago and now fits children’s shoes for families from across the south.

The children’s shoe shop was on East Street, and has now moved to 43 West Street, next to Roxtons and a couple of shops down from Hetre.

Hampshire Chronicle: Popular children's independent shoe shop expands into bigger premises

Jo said: “Thanks to the loyalty and support of our customers, even with the challenges and struggles of the past couple of years, we have gone from strength to strength since opening and we now just need more space to allow us to offer our customers even more choice of styles and brands - we even fit school shoes up to an adult size 12.

"This move will also allow us to expand our range of ladies' shoes, with even more styles of Skechers, Ecco and SaltWater sandals.

“This new retail space will mean that we can help more families during the busy school holidays, where there are only a limited number of weeks to fit everyone in.

"We are really looking forward to welcoming our customers to this new space and to providing an even more relaxed and fun environment for our families."
