MUSIC and films brought entertainment to the latest meeting of Romsey Flower Club.

The meeting was held on May 12 and saw Martina Coleman present a demo entitled 'Anything Goes'.

Martina entertained members and guests with stories about old films as she created each arrangement. She then played a piece of music from the film as she revealed the finished arrangement.

Music included Once I had a Secret Love from Calamity Jane and the theme from Gone With the Wind.

Julie Facey, from the flower club, said: “The arrangements were stunning and some lucky raffle winners took the arrangements home with them at the end of the evening.”

The next meeting is on Thursday, June 9 when speaker and Alstroemeria grower, Ben Cross will talk about the 'British Flowers Rock' movement and the importance of supporting the British flower industry.
