HUNDREDS of budding ballet stars took to the stage to showcase their hard work.
Starz Ballet, which operates classes across Hampshire including at The Westgate School in Winchester, put on its production called In The Starz on Sunday, May 15 and Sunday, May 22 at the Berry Theatre in Hedge End.
Three hundred dance school pupils aged between six months and 12 years old took to the stage across three packed shows in addition to the dress rehearsals that day.
Lianne Weston-Mommsen, creative director, who runs Starz Ballet with Cheryl Dodd, said: “It was absolutely brilliant, It was so nice. We do an annual show nut we had to miss it last year due to Covid. We did our last performance the weekend before lockdown so we have waited a long time to get back on stage.
"Everyone enjoyed themselves. It went smoothly and all the parents were brilliant. Everyone enjoyed getting back to normal. The team were also brilliant.”
Starz Ballet holds classes at 20 venues across 70 classes.
