A WINCHESTER theatre group is putting on an immersive exhibition screening in The Performance Space at The Arc, Winchester.

Blue Apple Theatre's special assignments company will be presenting ‘Forgotten People, Forgotten Planet’ from 12pm to 3pm on June 3.

Pip Armitage, from Blue Apple Theatre, said: “For the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, funding has enabled Blue Apple to produce and explore the important and thought-provoking narrative of the climate crisis through a unique lens, using the medium of film, meaning we can open up the conversation and make it accessible to a wider audience.

“We all share this planet we call our home, and we hope that this project will challenge and bring the community together as one, by sharing stories, calls for action and art, from the point of view of those with learning disabilities, who are often forgotten in society and left out of important conversations.

“Meet key players in the climate emergency. Some you may know well and support those who actively care for this planet we call our home. Some you may care to not think about the bearers of bad news, polluting politics and pure reckless disregard for this planet we call our home. Look up, think, and act, before it’s too late.

“Our thanks to The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Community Foundation who made this project possible by providing a grant through the Arts Council England Let's Create Jubilee Fund.”
