A CENTENERY concert is being performed by a Winchester group.

Winchester and County Music festival's celebration concert is at The Anvil, in Basingstoke, May 22 at 7 pm.

All the current Festival choirs will combine for a performance of Handel’s Messiah guest directed by David Hill MBE, conductor of the Bach Choir and former organist of Winchester Cathedral.

A quartet of young, exciting solo singers will join the Southern Sinfonia orchestra to mark the conclusion of one century’s music-making and to announce the start of a new era and a new title - the Hampshire Choral Festival (HCF).

For ticket details see the Anvil Arts web-site www.anvilarts.org.uk.
