A ROMSEY man has been forced to pay more than £300 by a court after he dropped a cigarette butt in Southampton.
On December 16 2021, Stuart Andrew Pickering, of Cowleas Cottages, Awbridge, littered a cigarette butt in Above Bar Street, Southampton.
At Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on May 5 2022, the 52-year-old was handed a £146 fine.
He must also pay costs of £168.75 and a £34 surcharge, making a total of £348.75.
