A HAMPSHIRE-BASED adoption agency is calling out for people serious about adoption as it hosts a face to face drop in this month.

Adopt South is hosting the event on Saturday, May 14 as it seeks to answer any questions, offering an opportunity to meet with an adopter, hear about their experience and find out what life has been like for them as foster parents.

The drop in will take place at the Holiday Inn hotel in Eastleigh from 10am until 2pm and Beggarswood Community Centre in Basingstoke on Wednesday, June 1 from 4pm until 8pm.

Rachel Reynolds, head of Adopt South said: “We understand that anyone considering adoption will naturally have a wide range of questions – whether you’re parenting a child for the first time or adopting when you have a family already.

“Our Face to Face Adoption Information Events are a good opportunity to meet with us in person, with comfortable and private spaces available to talk through all these questions in detail. Our friendly team will be on hand to tell you more about our children and how we support applicants throughout the adoption process and beyond.

“We know that many of our approved adopters found this experience really valuable in the past, and would therefore encourage anyone thinking about adoption to come and visit us at the Holiday Inn on Saturday. We look forward to welcoming you.”
