A WINCHESTER woman has been banned from the road for drug driving.
Claire Elledge, 47, was caught driving a 69-reg Vauxhall Astra in Lower Brook Street, Winchester, on February 7, a court was told.
Elledge, of Mildmay Street, Stanmore, was tested and returned a reading for benzoylecgonine, a derivative of cocaine, of more than 200mg/l when the legal limit is 50.
Magistrates in Basingstoke disqualified her for 12 months, fined her £120 with £45 costs and a £34 victim surcharge. The penalty will be deducted from benefits to be paid by June 8.
