Cycling group Cadence has opened a new clubhouse in Cheriton.

Walkers, cyclists, outdoor afficionados and their four-legged friends are invited to the  new clubhouse at Holden Farm on the South Downs Way and King Alfred’s Way near Cheriton.

Cadence Clubhouse manager Sharon Miles said: “We’re so excited to open. We’ve gathered a great team, we have an amazing menu of grab-and-go food and drink, and we’re in an incredible spot on this beautiful farm. We are the chillest, friendliest and most inclusive clubhouse and can’t wait to meet people as they pass by on their adventures.”

Becca Corbett, owner of Holden Farm, said: "We’re really pleased to welcome Cadence to Holden Farm. Cadence have a fantastic ethos.

"They support local communities and local producers whilst offering brilliant sustenance to adventurers going past. It is all about minimising their environmental footprint and being inclusive. We believe they’re going to be a real asset to the area.”

The Holden Farm Clubhouse adds to locations in Upwaltham, Litlington and Eastbourne, where Cadence also offer e-bike hire and guided tours.

Cadence said it aims to serve and connect with people who love the outdoors and welcome visitors arriving on foot or via two wheels.

The Holden Farm Clubhouse opened on Sunday, May 1 and will be open from 8am every day. It can be found at the junction where the South Downs Way crosses the A272 at Holden Farm, just six miles from Winchester and close to the pretty village of Cheriton.
