A VILLAGER has been banned from the road for driving with no insurance.

Martin Shortell-Campbell, 40, was in a 04-reg Peugeot 307 when stopped by the police on Cricketers Way, Andover, on March 2 2021, a court was told.

Shortell-Campbell, of Five Acres Rise, Over Wallop, near Stockbridge, was found guilty with the case proved in his absence at Aldershot Magistrates Court.

Magistrates disqualified him from driving for six months under the totting up procedure, fined him £660 with £90 costs and a £55 victim surcharge.
