A SUSHI takeaway is set to open in Winchester.
A planning application has been submitted to the city council for the currently-empty 21 Bridge Street which for the last 20 years was a Chinese herbalist clinic. It would be called Sushi.
An unrelated application for a sushi takeaway at 151A High Street was refused by planners.
There a number of sushi restaurants in Winchester including Kyoto Kitchen, Samurai and Tanoshi Fusion but the Bridge Street venture would be among the first takeaways, following Sushi Daily on Stockbridge Road, Fulflood.
