A HAMPSHIRE motorist who drove at more than 100mph has been disqualified for 14 days.
James Laird, 44, of The Maytrees, Lymington Bottom, Four Marks, near Alresford, was caught on September 8 last year driving a BMW at 103mph on the A31 east of the village, near the junction with Brickiln Lane, where the speed limit on the dual carriageway is 70mph.
He pleaded guilty and was fined £660 with £90 costs and a £66 victim surcharge. The money must be paid by May 23, ordered magistrates in Aldershot.
