ALRESFORD town chiefs have hailed the success of the latest six-hour French market with sunny weather during the day.

Muriel Charles, the French market organiser, said she wished to thank Alresford residents for their warm welcome and looks forward to returning in 2023.

The French market contained six large stalls covering 50 metres and occupied the top half of Broad Street.

The produce was varied and fresh - covering a wide range of breads, croissants, cakes, cheeses, nuts, pates, clothing and hot meals.
