AN ALLEGED drink driver has been acquitted at magistrates court.
Frederick Nelson Loveridge, 67, of Coxford Down, Micheldever, was accused of driving with excess alcohol on the M3 at Hook on May 24 2020.
The court heard the reading was 167 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood, when the legal limit is 80, making him allegedly twice the limit.
But Mr Loveridge pleaded not guilty at a previous hearing and he was found not guilty at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
