A BEAUTY salon in Romsey has won an award, nominated by its customers.

The Beauty Studio, in Bell Street, was awarded the Beauty Therapist of the Year winner, voted for by readers of the Hampshire Chronicle and Romsey Advertiser.

The studio is based in the department store Bradbeers and was established in 1991 by Suzanne Portman.

They pride themselves on their strong local reputation for luxury professional treatments in a friendly, relaxing setting.

They offer treatments such as caci non-surgical treatments, dermalogica skin care treatments, dermaplaning, sienna x, eye car, ear piercing, massage and well being, hair removal waxing, hand and foot care, electrolysis, shellac, special packages and tanning.

On receiving the award, Suzanne said: “The gives us a tremendous sense of fulfilment when our fabulous customers have taken the time to support us. Thank you, we couldn't do it without you.

“We an an independent business located in Bradbeers department store. We have be trading in Romsey for over 30 years.

“The last two years have been the most challenging o this gives us a much needed boost.”

Kimberley Barber, editor of the Romsey Advertiser, said: "It has been a tough couple of years for businesses, and it has been especially tough for those who rely on being face to face with their customers.
