Winchester Fashion Week signed off in style as the Grand Finale Catwalk Show returned after a two-year hiatus.
The sell-out show, which was held at the University of Winchester on Saturday, April 9, marked the end of the 11th edition of the celebration, which featured a packed schedule of masterclasses, showcases, exhibitions, stylist workshops, shopping events from April 4 to 9.
Presented by Winchester Business Improvement District (BID) working in partnership with this year’s sponsor, The Faculty of Business, Law and Digital Technologies at the University of Winchester, the evening featured a host of professional models showcasing fashion and accessories from both national and independent retailers in the city centre, including Anthropologie, Gieves & Hawkes and Jigsaw, Mint Tea Boutique, H&B Style, Ellie & Bea, Brides of Winchester and Lark Kids and many more.
Professor Martin Broad, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Law and Digital Technologies at the University of Winchester said: “I am delighted that the faculty has once again sponsored Winchester Fashion Week. Our involvement presents an opportunity to support local fashion businesses and help create value economically, socially and culturally here in our city.
"It also provides a fantastic opportunity for our fashion students to get involved in the event in a variety of ways, to gain employability skills, shape their educational experience and contribute to the local community.”
