PEOPLE are being urged to donate money to help Ukrainian refugees in Poland.
The Rotary Club of Winchester is collecting money on behalf of the Rotary Club of Lublin Centrum, which is near the Ukraine border.
They will be in Winchester's High Street on Friday, April 1 from 9.30am until 4.30pm. They will also be at the city Park and Ride sites Saturday ,April 2 and again on Wednesday, April 6.
Gill Russell, press officer for the club, urged people to donate.
She said: "100 per cent of the money raised will be transferred directly to the Rotary Club of Lublin Centrum who will ensure that is it spent where it is needed most."
The money raised will go toward shelter, accommodation, medicines, first aid, food and essential items.
