POLICE in Chandler’s Ford have arrested a Winchester teenager on suspicion of criminal damage and drug offences.
It comes after officers spotted a teenage boy at the corner of School Lane and Station Road in Chandler’s Ford just before 3am this morning (24 March) who then tried to flee.
He was detained by officers and searched; with a quantity of suspected Class A drugs, a quantity of Class C drugs as well as cans of spray paint being seized.
A 17-year-old from Winchester was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage, going equipped to damage property, possession of a Class A drug and possession of a Class C drug.
The youth was released and is due to voluntarily attend an interview under caution at a police custody suite at a later date.
