NEW businesses shape the future of our district.

That is why the Winchester Business Awards has a category dedicated to recognising the best of the best.

Our New Business award sponsored by Dutton Gregory, will be presented to a business started within the past two years whose existing success has set the ground work for the business to grow, flourish and move into a position of longer-term sustainability. Do you know someone like this? If so, you can nominate them. The judges are looking for a clearly conveyed business idea with the opportunity for growth and development.

“To be returning as sponsor for the New Business category of this year’s Winchester Business Excellence Awards is especially poignant for us,” said managing partner of Dutton Gregory, Andrew Tilley. “In May this year, we will begin celebrations to mark the 75th Anniversary of Dutton Gregory opening its first office in the heart of Winchester. Part of reaching this milestone is to reflect on when our firm was starting out, how far we have come, and how we have helped so many entrepreneurs establish their businesses and thrive over the years. We cannot wait to see what this year’s award entries bring.”

The Winchester Business Excellence Awards organised in partnership by the Hampshire Chronicle, Winchester BID and Hampshire Chamber of Commerce are sponsored by Paris Smith, Dutton Gregory, Winchester City Council, Winchester University, Winchester BID, Azets, Ridge & Partners and Gentian. The awards are also supported by Natwest, Little Kitchen and Chesil House and are open to businesses within the Winchester District.
