AFTER two years away from the UK’s theatres due to the pandemic, Sooty's Magic Show is back on stage.

Richard Cadell is joined by his pals Sooty, Sweep and Soo for the new show that will span theatres across the nation until April 24.

And Richard says they are are looking forward to visiting Winchester's Theatre Royal on Monday, April 11.

Richard said: "Me, Sooty and the gang are so looking forward to coming to Winchester with our live magic show next month at the Theatre Royal. The audience in Winchester are massive Sooty fans, and we always have such a lot of fun meeting them after the show. Plus, Sweep always likes to stop at Cobbs Farm Shop to buy their sausages!"

The show features tricks, a flying car, singing unicorns and a levitating sausage.

It will also see special guests, circus star Michael Jordan and the ultraviolet specialities of Fantasie de la Nuit, join the fun.

It’s been an exciting few years for Sooty, with a new series airing on ITV’s LittleBe, and 2018 marking Sooty’s 70th birthday – cementing Sooty as the world’s longest running children’s television programme.
