A Winchester church is the latest to announce it'll be holding a vigil for Ukraine.
St Paul’s Church in St Paul’s Hill will be holding the vigil at 7.30pm on Thursday, March 17 in a showing of solidarity with those effected by the ongoing conflict.
There will be readings, prayers and string music by Grieg, Elgar, Moore and Finzi played by Winchester Camerata on the evening, with a collection for the Christian Aid Ukraine crisis appeal also planned.
This will follow the 'blue and yellow' vigil which is due to be held at Winchester Cathedral on Saturday, March 12 from 11am.
The first large scale vigil was held at Abbey Gardens on March 1, with around 300 people turning out despite the cold conditions.
