A VILLAGER with an alcohol problem has been ordered to stop drinking for 60 days after a conviction for a string of violent offences.

Chloe Miller, 22, of High Street, Shirrell Heath, near Wickham, attacked three people, two of them police officers, in Andover on July 11 last year, a court heard.

She pleaded guilty to assaulting Amanda Briant, PC Holly Ryall and PC Oliver Royston, the racial harassment of Emily Attwood and PC Royston, and criminal damage to a police Ford Transit van, to value unknown.

Magistrates in Basingstoke ordered Miller undertake 160 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and undergo alcohol abstinence and monitoring until March 27.

She was ordered to pay £100 compensation to Ms Briant and £50 to each police officer. The money will be deducted from her benefits.
