SPEEDING near Alresford has resulted in a ban for the offender.
Paul Pike, 74, of Seaton in Devon, was clocked by a camera van when he drove an Audi at 41mph in the 30-zone of the A272 at Bramdean on April 3 last year.
Pike admitted the charge when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
Magistrates banned him from the road for six months under the totting-up procedure, fined him £461 with £90 costs and a £46 victim surcharge.
