A MUSIC gig is coming to a church in Winchester this May.

The performance was originally due to take place in February, but the organisers said it had to be rearranged because of the Omicron variant.

Aynsley Lister is performing at The Holy Trinity Church Hall on Upper Brook Street on May 14, at 8pm.

Although most commonly known for his band performances as a four-piece, these solo performances offer a rare chance to see Lister up close and personal in a stripped down, intimate set-up.

His unmistakeable voice, easy wit and warm rapport have endeared him to all ages from five to ninety-five.

During the show, he will be bringing a brand-new set, showcasing some of his best songs accompanied with some classic covers as you’ve never heard them before.

Expect an evening of finely crafted songs performed with a passion and conviction that will have you hooked from the very first chord.

Tickets can be bought online and £15.
