Four people were treated for minor injuries after a car crashed into a tree on Stockbridge Road last night.

Police, fire and ambulance services were called to Stockbridge Road in Sparsholt, with the road being closed while the scene was cleared.

A spokesperson from South Central Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 19:24 last night to an incident on Stockbridge Road where a car had hit a tree.  We sent to the scene our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) two ambulance crews and a paramedic team leader. 

“They were assessing and treating four patients for non life threatening injuries.  Following assessment and treatment at the scene by our crews all four patients were taken to North Hampshire Hospital.”

A Hampshire Fire Service spokesperson said: “Winchester crews were called at 7.32pm last night following a road traffic collision on Stockbridge Road.

“We were informed by ambulance colleagues of the incident involving one vehicle.

“Four casualties were treated by South Central Ambulance Service paramedics for minor injuries, whilst HIWFRS made the scene safe.

“Crews returned to station at 8:03pm last night.”

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.38pm to Stockbridge Road in Sparsholt to reports of a car colliding with a tree.

“Four people, who were in the vehicle, were reported as being injured.
