A CAR and five bicycles were stolen during a burglary at a house in Winchester, and now police are appealing for information.

The burglary took place at an address in Fairfax Close, sometime between 11.30pm on Friday January 14 and 4.30am on Saturday January 15.

A set of keys were taken from the address and used to take a grey Volkswagen Golf and five bicycles.

The bicycles that were taken are described as follows:

  • A blue and silver Raleigh Dyna-Tech racing bike
  • An orange Orro Terra-C racing bike
  • A dark grey and green Giant TCR racing bike
  • A light green Cube Reaction racing bike
  • A silver Boardman Pro mountain bike

A police spokesperson said: “We are keen to hear from anyone with information that may help our investigation.

“Did you see or hear anything suspicious at around the time of the incident? Perhaps you saw someone hanging around the area? Do you live in the area and have private CCTV? Perhaps you were driving in the area at the time and have dash-cam footage?

“We are also keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered for sale any of the bikes matching the descriptions above.
