According to TVBC Cllr Phil North, who shared the news about the council capital programme, the floodlighting of the track will increase the club’s prospects.

Cllr North said: “I’m pleased to report that at last night’s Test Valley Cabinet meeting, we added a project to floodlight Andover BMX track to the council’s capital programme.

“The floodlighting of the track will increase the clubs ability to host midweek events with the potential to develop a BMX coaching hub for the southern region. Building on the legacy of Team GB’s Gold and Silver medals at the Tokyo Olympics.
