Snowy road
DRIVERS in the south east have the most accidents in snow and ice weather conditions.
Hampshire and Surrey were the top locations for accidents of this nature, with 27 reported last year.
During 2021, the south east saw 100 more accidents than Wales, which was found to be the safest region in a study by Leasing Options.
As a whole the region reported 146 accidents when conditions were icy, which is nearly twice as many as Yorkshire/Humberside (75) and three times as many as London (49).
