A WINCHESTER man died after a fall outside his home, an inquest heard.
Geoffrey Mitchell, 87, died in Royal Hampshire County Hospital, after he was admitted after his fall. He died on November 22.
No address was given at the inquest.
Mr Mitchell’s daughter, Dot Costello, was alerted to her father’s fall by neighbours. He deteriorated after this.
The inquest heard, the preliminary causes of death was given as: aspiration pneumonia, intracerebral haemorrhage (following fall), ischaemic heart disease, chronic kidney disease and frailty of old age.
Coroner Darren Stewart adjourned the inquest to June 21.
