THE police are warning about crime in Kings Worthy over Christmas.
They have received an increased amount of reports relating to shed breaks and a theft of motor vehicle between December 25-30.
Some residents have reported suspicious activity, particularly unknown persons making enquiries about items seen advertised on Facebook Marketplace and then targeting the resident's address for the item(s).
In other cases the offenders appear to have targeted sheds and front/rear gardens of addresses by chance.
Police are interested a small dark coloured car possibly being driven by a female with male passengers. The registration of this car is unknown at this stage. It is believed that other vehicles are involved and police are looking into this.
